With over 13 years experience in the health and social care field across various community and institutional settings, Iain has dedicated much of his life to supporting people therapeutically. Alongside his private practice in Leatherhead, he also works with students at a London University to improve their mental health and wellbeing during what can be some of the most stressful years of their life.

Iain’s friendly, welcoming and calming manner provides his clients with a sense of safety and familiarity and the authenticity and kindness he offers contributes towards the development of a strong rapport. Iain prides himself on his ability to be present, hearing his clients worries and concerns and supporting them in understanding themselves better.

Practicing as a relational integrative psychotherapist, means that Iain invests heavily into building a trusting relationship with his clients whilst drawing upon influences from several therapeutic modalities, all of which inform his work. These include, person-centered, psychodynamic, somatic experiencing, and CBT theories.

His diverse and finely tuned skillset enables him to adapt his approach to meet the changing needs of his clients, whilst allowing them to upskill and grow. His ability to quickly identify individuals unmet needs and analyse the next steps towards their goals really sets him apart from others within the field.
